CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball team will face Maryland at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum Thursday night. Tip off is set for 7:00 p.m.
Clemson has a 15-5 record overall and a 6-3 record in the ACC. Maryland has a 14-6 record overall and a 5-4 record in the ACC. Clemson is ranked 17th by the Associated Press and USA Today polls.
Marche’ Strickland leads the Terrapins in scoring with a 13.3 ppg. average. Renneika Razor leads Maryland in rebounding with a 6.5 rpg. mark.
Chrissy Floyd leads the Lady Tigers in scoring with a 17.3 ppg average. Erin Batth is second on the team in scoring with a 13.7 ppg average. Batth also leads the team in rebounding with 8.7 rpg. Krystal Scott leads the team in assists with 69 or 3.45 apg.
This will be the 47th meeting between Clemson and Maryland on the basketball court. The Terrapins lead the overall series 26-20.
Maryland defeated Clemson 85-73 in overtime at College Park, MD on January 2. Clemson was led in scoring in this game by Chrissy Floyd with 20 points.
