Clemson to face Furman Sunday afternoon in Greenville, SC

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team will face Furman Sunday afternoon at the Stone Soccer Stadium on the Furman campus at 2:00 p.m.

Clemson has an 8-2-1 record overall this season. Clemson is ranked in the top five nationally according to the latest men’s soccer polls released last Tuesday.

Clemson is ranked fourth by the NSCAA and Soccertimes. The Tigers are ranked fifth by Soccer America and College Soccer News.

The Tigers are led in scoring by Dane Richards with seven goals and six assists for 20 points.

Furman has a 6-4-1 record overall this season. Dominic Cianciarulo has two goals and three assists for seven points to lead the Paladins.

This will be the 40th meeting between Clemson and Furman on the soccer field. Clemson leads the overall series 33-4-2.
