Clemson to face Florida State Sunday afternoon

CLEMSON, SC-The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play at Florida State on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in Tallahassee, FL Thursday, February 8.

The game will be televised live on Fox Sports Net South

Clemson has a 15-6 record overall, and a 5-5 mark in the ACC. Florida State has an 11-10 record overall and a 4-6 mark in league play. Clemson is coming off a 72-41 loss to 12th-ranked North Carolina on Thursday night. Florida State upset second-ranked Duke 80-74, on Wednesday, February 4.

The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with an 17.8 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with a 7.9 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (83) and steals (55).

Florida State is led in scoring by Tasheika Allen with a 14.0 ppg. average. Genesis Choice leads the Seminoles in rebounding with a 5.5 rpg. mark.

This will be the 28th meeting between Clemson and Florida State on the basketball court. The Lady Tigers lead the overall series 23-4. The Seminoles defeated Clemson 68-61 in Clemson, SC on January 8.
