GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball team will face East Carolina Thursday night (December 30), at 7:00 p.m. in Minges Coliseum in Greenville, NC.
Clemson has a 7-4 record overall this season, while East Carolina has a 5-5 mark this year. The Lady Tigers are looking to break a two game losing streak as Clemson lost to sixth-ranked Penn State and UNC-Greensboro before the Christmas break.
Clemson is led in scoring by freshman Chrissy Floyd with a 11.7 ppg. average. Erin Batth leads the Lady Tigers in rebounding with a 8.0 rpg. mark. East Carolina is led in scoring by Danielle Melvin with a 18.3 ppg. average.
The Lady Tigers also have a 3-0 record over the years when the school’s football team plays in a bowl game on the same day. The Clemson Tigers are playing in the Peach Bowl on December 30.
This will be the fourth meeting between Clemson and East Carolina on the basketball court. Clemson leads the overall series 3-0.
