Clemson to face Duke Monday night

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play host to second-ranked Duke in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball game on Monday, February 2, at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.

The game will be televised on Fox Sports Net South. Duke is ranked second in both the Associated Press and USA Today polls.

Clemson has a 15-4 record overall and a 5-3 mark in the ACC. Duke has a 16-2 record overall and a 7-0 mark in league play. Duke is coming off a 75-56 win over N.C. State in Durham on Friday night. Clemson is coming off a 68-55 loss to Maryland on Thursday night in College Park, MD.

The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with an 18.4 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with an 8.3 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (75) and steals (47).

Duke is led in scoring by Alana Beard with a 19.1 ppg. average. Iciss Tillis leads the Blue Devils in rebounding with a 7.2 rpg. mark.

This will be the 57th meeting between Clemson and Duke on the basketball court. Clemson lead the overall series 32-24.
