Clemson Third In Latest MasterCard Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – Clemson is ranked third in the nation according to the latest MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings. The Tigers trail Georgia and Georgia Tech in the latest poll that is conducted by the College Golf Foundation and compiled by Golfstat in cooperation with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA).

Clemson has been ranked in the top three of the nation in every poll this year. TCU if fourth, followed by Florida. South Carolina is sixth, followed by ACC rival NC State. Texas is eighth, followed by Southern Cal and Augusta State.

Clemson will compete in the Chris Schenkel Intercollegiate this Saturday and Sunday at Statesboro, GA. The Tigers are led by Lucas Glover and John Engler, a pair of senior All-Americans. Glover, who won the Puerto Rico Classic in February, is ranked second in the nation, while Engler is third. Engler has finished in the top five in the nation in five of his last six events.

Bryce Molder of Georgia Tech is ranks first in the nation.
