Clemson Swimming and Diving Teams to participate in Carolina/Nike Cup

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will participate in the 20th annual Carolina/Nike Cup Swimming and Diving Meet at Chapel Hill, NC Thursday-Saturday.

Competing teams include North Carolina, Clemson, East Carolina, Florida International, Kentucky, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.

The complete Nike Cup schedule is as follows:

* These events will be limited to the fastest 48 (6 heats) individual entered.

+ Each team is limited to three (3) relay teams per event. All relay events are time finals with all heats swum during the evening sessions.

% The 1650 Freestyle will begin at a time such that all but the fastest heats (one women’s and one men’s) swum slowest to fastest are completed by 5:00pm. Heats will alternate women, then men. The The 1650 Free will be limited to the fastest 40 (10 heats – 5 for the women and 5 heats for the men).
