Clemson Soccer Teams Ranked High In Latest Polls

Clemson, SC – Both the Clemson men’s and women’s soccer teams are ranked high in several major polls released this week.

The men, who defeated sixth-ranked Wake Forest on Saturday night, are ranked eighth by Soccer America, and ninth in the NSCAA according to the polls released November 12. In the soccertimes.com poll, the Tigers are ranked ninth.

The Lady Tigers enter this week’s NCAA Tournament ranked 15th by Soccer America and 18th by the NSCAA. In the soccertimes.com poll, they are ranked 15th.

This Thursday night at 8:00PM, the men will face off against Maryland in the first round of the ACC Tournament which is being held this year at Clemson’s Historic Riggs Field. On Friday and Sunday afternoon, the Lady Tigers will host the first two rounds of the 2001 NCAA Tournament. In the first round on Friday, the Lady Tigers will face Kentucky at 2:30PM.
