CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson diving team has been named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for the fall 2014 semester. The Tigers recorded a cumulative team grade point average of 3.59 in the fall, which is tied for the highest team GPA among all Division I women’s swimming and diving teams for the semester. This is the fifth straight semester that Head Coach Leslie Hasselbach Adams’ team has received the academic award.
“I am thrilled for our team for earning this prestigious honor. Academics are an important emphasis within our program and our ladies take great pride in getting the most out of their learning experience at Clemson University. They value the support and guidance of our academic advisor, Ginty Porter, and the resources that are provided to them through Vickery Hall,” said Adams.
Clemson is one of 11 programs from the Atlantic Coast Conference to earn the Scholar All-America Team distinction, which is presented each fall and spring semester to college and university swimming and diving teams that achieve a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
