Clemson Men’s Track And Field To Compete In Clemson Relays

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s track and field team will compete in its first home meet of the 2002 season on Saturday at the Rock Norman Track Complex. The Tigers’ will begin competition at 10:00 a.m. with the field events, and the running events will start at 11:00 a.m.

The field includes student-athletes from Brevard College, Cumberland College, East Tennessee State University, Furman University, Western Carolina University and Speed Dynamics Track Club, as well as Clemson University.

The Clemson Relays will also be the kickoff for the sixth-annual Clemson Tigers Relays for the Oconee-Pickens Elementary School children. Student from the third, fourth and fifth grades will compete in 8×75 yard relays during the track meet. The schools that will be competing this Saturday are Code Elementary, Clemson Elementary, Central Elementary, Fair Oak Elementary, James M. Brown, Walhalla Elementary and Westminster Elementary.
