Clemson Men’s Track And Field To Compete In Clemson Invitational

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s track and field team will compete in the 2002 Clemson Invitational this Saturday at the Rock Norman Track Complex. The Tigers will face student-athletes from Illinois, Purdue, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.

The men’s events will begin at 11:15 a.m. with the hammer throw. At 1:00 p.m., the men’s running events will commence with the 3000m steeplechase. The final event for the men will be the 4x400m relay at 5:25 p.m. The Clemson Invitational will continue the sixth-annual Clemson Tigers Relays for the Oconee-Pickens Elementary School children. Student from the third, fourth and fifth grades will compete in 8×75 yard relays during the track meet.
