Clemson Men’s Track And Field Competes In Clemson Relays

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s track and field team competed in the 2002 Clemson Relays held at the Rock Norman Track Complex.

In the running events, Airese Currie finished tied for third with a time of 10.58. Michael Bolling was fourth in 55.40.

In the relay events, Clemson’s 4x1500m relay team won the event with a time of 16:15.24. The Tigers’ 4x800m relay team posted a third-place finish in the event with a time of 7:52.89, while the Tigers’ 4x200m relay team won the event with a time of 1:24.39. The distance medley relay finished third in 10:29.74, and the sprint medley relay team posted a third-place finish in 3:35.16. Clemson’s “A” 4x400m relay team finished second with a time of 3:18.45, and “B” was third in 3:21.98.

In the field events, George Kitchens won the long jump with a mark of 6.96m/22’10” while Barrow was second (6.44m/21’1.5″). Adam Klotzbach led the Tigers in the pole vault, placing third with a mark of 4.67m/15’3.75″.

Clemson men’s track and field travels to Raleigh, NC, to compete in the Raleigh Relays next weekend, Mar. 29-30.
