Clemson Men’s Tennis to Open 2007 Season Friday

CLEMSON, SC–The No. 23 ranked Clemson Tiger Men’s Tennis Team will play at No. 36 Texas Christian at 2:00 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Worth, TX.

Earlier in the day on Friday, Clemson will play Texas A&M Corpus Christi at 8:30 a.m. at Fort Worth, TX.

TCU is 1-0 on the year after defeating Texas-Pan American on Wednesday.

The series between Clemson and TCU is tied 11 wins for each school. The last time the two teams met was in the 2004 NCAA Championships, where the Tigers ended TCU’s season with a 4-2 victory.

Clemson, features the No. 46 player in the nation, Clement Reix.

The Tigers’ Head Coach, Chuck Kriese is entering his 32nd season at Clemson and has won 639 matches during his tenure.
