Clemson Men’s Tennis Ranked Fifth Nationally

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s tennis team is ranked fifth nationally by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as announced Tuesday afternoon.

Clemson has a 17-2 record overall and has won 13 matches in a row.

This is the highest Clemson has been ranked since the Tigers were ranked second on March 3, 1987. The Tigers have been ranked fifth a total of four times in the program’s history. This also marks the 69th time that Clemson has been ranked in the top 10, and it is also the 13th time Clemson has been ranked in the top five.

Clemson will play at Florida State on Saturday, March 18 at Tallahassee, FL in the Tigers’ next action.
