QUICK FACTS • Clemson will host Virginia Tech on Saturday and it will be “Senior Day” at Littlejohn Coliseum. Prior to the game, Clemson’s four seniors – Demontez Stitt, Jerai Grant, Zavier Anderson and Jonah Baize – will be presented with a framed jersey. The players will also address the crowd following the game. • The winner of Saturday’s game will earn the No. 4 seed and a first-round bye for next week’s ACC Tournament. • Clemson and Virginia Tech will meet for the fifth time in the last seven years on one of the two teams’ Senior Day celebrations. • Clemson has played all but seven games (the first seven) this season with nine original scholarship players. Anderson and Baize, original walk-ons, were placed on scholarship for the spring semester. • Clemson’s senior class has an overall record of 87-40, third-best among ACC schools over the last four-year period. Only Duke and North Carolina seniors have produced more wins. • Brad Brownell is just the 11th coach in ACC history to guide his team to a .500 record or better in his first season. • Despite playing less than two days after being diagnosed with strep throat, Demontez Stitt played 36 minutes at Duke and tallied 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists. • With the four assists, it gave the senior guard an even total of 400 for his career. He passed Vernon Hamilton for seventh on the school’s all-time list and needs just three on Saturday to pass Bobby Conrad for sixth place. • Stitt has scored at least 14 points in seven consecutive conference games and is ninth in ACC games with a 15.3 points per game average. • Jerai Grant has made more free throws this season (100) than in his previous three seasons combined (96). He is one of five regular contributors shooting at least 70 percent from the free throw line this season. • Grant has made 79 of 118 field goal attempts inside Littlejohn Coliseum this season, an incredible 67 percent mark. • Milton Jennings has had two double-doubles in league play this season, first at home on Feb. 12 against North Carolina and then last time out at Duke. Thus, he has had double-doubles against the top two teams in the ACC.
