QUICK FACTS Jerai Grant has had consecutive double-doubles for the first time in his Clemson career. He had 11 points and a career high 15 rebounds at Virginia Tech this past Saturday. He had 18 points and 12 rebounds in the win over Maryland in the previous game.

Trevor Booker needs just 15 rebounds to become the second player in Clemson history with 1500 points and 1000 rebounds. He has 985 career rebounds and will join Dale Davis when he collects 15 more caroms.

When Booker gets those 15 rebounds he will be the fifth active Division I player with 1500 points and 1000 rebounds. Already on the list are Luke Harangody of Notre Dame, Damion James of Texas, Jonathan Rodriquez of Campbell and Omar Samhan of St. Mary’s.

Booker needs just seven points to reach 1600 for his career, and needs just one assist for 200. Booker is second in Clemson history in assists by a frontcourt player. The record is 206 by Horace Grant (1983-87). So, Booker needs just eight assists to become Clemson’s career leader in assists by a frontcourt player.

Booker got in foul trouble in the loss at Virginia Tech. He finished with four fouls, but was called for his fourth with 13:14 left and Clemson trailing by just three points. It was just the fourth time in the last 55 games that Booker had been called for four fouls. He has now gone 55 consecutive games without fouling out.

Wednesday will be Trevor Booker 126th consecutive start. The Clemson record is 130 in a row by Cliff Hammonds.

Florida State has won each of the last three games in this series, but Clemson has won seven of the last eight games played at Clemson. The home team has won 13 of the last 16 games in the series.

Each of the last two games played by the Tigers have been defensive struggles. Over the last two Clemson games, the Tigers and the opposition have failed to shoot at least 35 percent from the field. Clemson is 1-1 in those games.

Malcolm Delaney was 20-23 from the line against Clemson last Saturday. It was the most free throws made against Clemson by an individual since the 1952-53 season when Steve Nye made 22 free throws against the Tigers for Presbyterian.

Clemson is 1-4 since Demontez Stitt suffered a sprained foot at NC State on January 16.

Clemson will play its next three games at home, Clemson’s first three-game ACC home stand since January of 2008 and just the second time it has happened since 2004-05.
