Feb. 16, 2012

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s and women’s cross country teams were named All-Academic for the 2011 fall season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. This is the second straight year the Tiger women have been honored by the USTFCCCA.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic cross country team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship. Clemson’s women had a cumulative 3.33 GPA, while the men were not far behind at 3.11 for the fall semester. Individually, Alyssa Kulik and Ty McCormack were honored by the USTFCCCA last week as All-Academic selections.
