CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Lady Tiger Basketball team will play host to ACC-foe Florida State Sunday, December 30, at 2:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson will enter the game with an 8-3 record overall and is riding a five-game winning streak. In the Lady Tigers’ most recent action, Clemson defeated Hartford 60-46 at Uncasville, CT.
Chrissy Floyd leads the Lady Tigers in scoring with a 17.8 ppg. average. Krystal Scott is Clemson’s second leading scorer with a 10.9 ppg. mark. Maggie Slosser leads the Lady Tigers in field goal pct. as she has hit 29-53 from the floor for a .547 mark. Julie Aderhold leads the Lady Tigers in free throw pct. as she has hit 21-26 from the free throw line for a .808 mark. Slosser also leads the Lady Tigers in rebounding with a 5.6 rpg. mark.
Florida State has a 10-2 record overall this season. April Traylor leads the Seminoles in scoring with a 15.9 ppg average. Shinikki Whiting leads Florida State in rebounding with a 5.4 rpg mark.
Clemson’s Marci Glenney has scored 43 points in the last three games for the Lady Tigers. She scored 20 points in the upset win at Penn State on December 18. That game was the first time this season that she has scored in double figures. She only scored 33 points in the first eight games this season.
This will be the 23rd meeting between Clemson and Florida State on the basketball court. Clemson leads the overall series 21-1. Clemson has a perfect 10-0 record vs. the Seminoles at Clemson.
