CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play host to seventh-ranked Duke at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum Thursday night.
Clemson has a 10-4 record overall and a 2-1 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd with a 17.9 ppg. average. Maggie Slosser leads the team in rebounding with a 5.9 rpg. mark.
Duke has a 12-3 record overall entering tonight’s game. The Blue Devils have a 4-0 record in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Alana Beard leads Duke in scoring with a 18.3 ppg. average. Iciss Tillis leads the Blue Devils in rebounding with a 8.4 rpg. mark. Duke is ranked seventh in both the Associated Press and USA Today polls.
Head Coach Jim Davis won his 50th game over a ranked team at Clemson with the 73-69 win over 24th ranked Penn State on December 18. Clemson is 6-0 vs. teams ranked seventh by the Associated Press at Littlejohn Coliseum.
This will be the 53rd meeting between Clemson and Duke on the basketball court. Clemson leads the overall series 32-20.
