Clemson Lady Tiger Basketball Team Honored With Banquet

CLEMSON, S.C. — Erin Batth and Chrissy Floyd were both named the Most Valuable Players, while Krystal Scott won the team’s Most Improved Player trophy at the 20th Annual Clemson Women’s Basketball Banquet held at the Madren Center on the Clemson University campus Wednesday evening.

The 1999-2000 Lady Tigers finished the season with a 19-12 record overall. Clemson also advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s second round.

Floyd, a freshman from Laurens, SC, led the team in scoring with a 12.3 ppg. average. She was also named second-team All-ACC. Erin Batth was the team’s second leading scorer with a 9.3 ppg. average. She led the team in rebounding with a 7.4 rpg. mark.

The Best Offensive Player went to Floyd, while Batth was named the Best Defensive Player.
