The holidays began a little earlier this year for Gerald Walsh, a resident of Windsor, South Carolina, who won the grand prize in the Dodge “Drive to a Bowl” contest on Monday, December 5. Walsh was among four contestants who enjoyed a day at Darlington Raceway courtesy of Dodge that included laps around the famous track. The day culminated in the grand prize giveaway of a 2006 Dodge Charger. Walsh also won a trip to see the Tigers play in Orlando that included a free flight, hotel accommodations, and tickets to the game.
Walsh is not Clemson’s only big contest winner this year. Chris Bostic is one million dollars richer after winning the Healthy Choice and Bi-Lo “Throw for a Million” contest during the Clemson v. FSU game in November. Clemson also awarded a fan with the GSP “Air it Out with the Tigers” promotion that featured a trip to the first ever ACC Championship game in Jacksonville, Florida. The trip included airfare, hotel accommodations, and tickets to the game.
