CLEMSON, S.C. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the recipients of the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men’s college basketball teams and individual players.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men’s basketball programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Clemson earned an NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for their performance in the classroom last season. The Tigers posted a GPA of 3.13.
Additionally, Clemson landed seven student-athletes on the Honors Court list for 2024-25. Viktor Lakhin (Anapa, Russia/CSKA-2/Cincinnati), Jaeden Zackery (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central/Boston College), Matt Kelly (Charleston, S.C./Porter-Gaud), Daniel Nauseef (Dayton, Ohio/Chaminade Julienne Catholic), Jake Heidbreder (Floyds Knobs, Ind./Floyd Central) and Christian Reeves (Charlotte, N.C./Oak Hill Academy (Va.)) earned recognition.
