CLEMSON, SC–Clemson’s Nathan Thompson won at both number-one singles and number-one doubles in leading the Tigers to a 4-3 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi late Sunday night in the Clemson Indoor Tennis Center.
Clemson improves to 14-2 on the year. The Tigers have won nine matches in a row.
At number-one singles, Thompson defeated Jeremy Blandin 6-3, 6-1. Thompson along with Ryan Young defeated Blandin and Javier Bacaicoa 8-5 at number-one doubles.
Clemson will start ACC play with a match against Georgia Tech on March 9, at Clemson, in the Tigers’ next action.
