Clemson defeats Charleston Southern 7-0 Tigers improve to 7-2.

CLEMSON, SC–Clemson defeated Charleston Southern 7-0 in an intercollegiate men’s tennis match at Clemson, SC Friday afternoon. The match was part of the Clemson Spring Classic.

With the win, Clemson improves to 7-2 on the year. Sander Koning won at number one singles for the Tigers with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Quentin Guichard of Charleston Southern. Koning and Ryan Young also won at number one doubles with a 8-2 win over Murat Attila and Lee Schuttle.

Clemson’s Head Coach Chuck Kriese now has 598 wins in his career. He is the all-time winningest coach in the history of the ACC. He is also one of the top six winninest coaches in the nation.

Clemson will play Emory later on Friday evening in the next match for the Tigers.
