Clemson Continues Traffic Evaluation; BOSH Technologies & AdAir to Assist this Weekend with Innovative Solutions

CLEMSON, S.C. – As part of Clemson’s season-long study of game day traffic flow and an overarching theme of continuing to improve upon one of the nation’s best game day experiences, AdAir and BOSH Technologies have chosen Clemson University to announce their partnership and provide unprecedented views of the area through aerial and ground based systems.

“This state-of-the-art technology allows us to get real-time aerial views of not only campus, but traffic areas off campus and in the surrounding areas to determine trouble spots and deploy resources and solutions quickly,” Van Hilderbrand, Associate AD for Event Management said.

AdAir and BOSH Technologies will utilize two tethered balloons (Skynet) and one 65-foot tower (Skyloft) with exceptional aerial views and state of the art ground system support before, during and after the Clemson – South Carolina football game on Saturday.

AdAir will also deploy sophisticated camera systems in the stadium for a “First Ever” imagery of Game Day.  Each system is equipped with 360 degree cameras and feature unique capabilities for each location including systems that can easily identify game day traffic bottleneck points with heat sensors and the clear view management of wait times with local authorities.

According to the AdAir and BOSH Technologies Public Relations Director, Angela Costello, “Our goal is to enhance an already amazing Clemson Game Day experience with the addition new technology. We will add a unique perspective for Clemson fans that fully captures the beauty of the campus while assisting local authorities with parking, traffic and emergency response.”

This historical deployment will feature a Skyloft system positioned atop the WestZone of Memorial Stadium, with the SkyNet tethered aerial system located near Littlejohn Coliseum’s east entrance and Kite Hill.

It’s going to be an amazing last home game. Clemson fans are encouraged to arrive to the stadium early to avoid traffic.
