CLEMSON, S.C. — The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Committee announced the participants for the 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships preliminary competitions on Thursday afternoon.
Clemson boasts 21 entries, including 17 individuals and four relays. The Tigers’ 17 athletes are entered in 12 events, with Veronica Fraley and Rebekah Smith set to be the lone Tigers to contest two individual events during the meet. Clemson also touts eight athletes entered across the men’s 110-meter hurdles, women’s 100m hurdles, and women’s 400m hurdles.
The Tigers will compete in the East Preliminary competition from May 26-29 on the campus of the University of North Florida. The qualifiers out of the East and West regions will compete in the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 9-12 in Eugene, Oregon.
