CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s basketball team and BI-LO have teamed up for the second annual Tiger Wonderland, which will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14 in Littlejohn Coliseum. Each Clemson men’s basketball player and coach will be paired with an underprivileged child provided by Clemson Community Care. The children receive a full experience in Littlejohn Coliseum that includes a sleigh ride, Christmas arts and crafts, dinner compliments of Aramark and the opening of stockings and presents with Santa Claus.
All the children have provided wish lists and BI-LO has graciously donated these items to ensure each child has a memorable Christmas. The children will get to spend one on one time with the players and coaches. The event was a tremendous success last holiday season.
“We are thrilled to host this event for the second year in a row,” said event planner Meredith Merritt. “There is nothing better than to see the look on the children’s faces as they interact with the basketball players and open their gifts. We especially want to thank BI-LO for their contributions to making this event happen.”
