Clemson And Maryland To Play Thursday In ACC Game

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball team will play host to Maryland Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.

Clemson will enter the contest with a 9-4 record overall and a 0-1 mark in the ACC. Maryland will enter the contest with a 8-4 record overall and a 0-2 slate in ACC play.

This will be the 44th meeting between Clemson and Maryland on the basketball court. The Terrapins lead the overall series 24-19. Clemson has won five games in a row over Maryland in the series.

Clemson is led in scoring by freshman Chrissy Floyd with an 12.1 ppg. average. Erin Batth is second in scoring with a 10.3 ppg. average. Batth leads the team in rebounding with an 7.5 rpg. mark. Krystal Scott leads the squad in assists with 35 or 2.7 apg.

Maryland is led in scoring by Tiffany Brown with a 13.8 ppg. average. Branka Bogunovic leads the Terrapins in rebounding with a 6.9 rpg. mark.
