Brownell Taking Part in Infiniti Coaches Challenge

CLEMSON, S.C. — Brad Brownell is again taking part in the Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge, sponsored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). He is one of 48 coaches participating in the 10-week event this year. Each coach is competing to try and earn the most votes to raise money for his favorite charity. Brownell has chosen the Outdoor Dream Foundation, which aims to create outdoor adventures for children who have been diagnosed with terminal or life-threatening illnesses. He has raised $17,500 for Outdoor Dream the past two years through the Coaches Charity Challenge.

Fans can vote once per day after creating a free ESPN account, and by visiting ESPN.com/Infiniti. The first round of voting closes at noon on January 22. Each coach that advances to the top 24 will receive $7,500 for his charity of choice. The ultimate winner will earn $100,000 for his charity, and will be announced March 12 after the fourth round of voting.
