CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Gymnast Brie Clark (Daphne, Ala.) was named the ACC Co-Specialist of the Week after posting a 9.975 on floor in Friday’s meet against Pittsburgh. Clark also added a career-best 9.850 on vault and a 9.800 on beam. Clark is tied for third in the nation on floor with an NQS of 9.935.
The 9.975 tied Molly Arnold’s 2024 vault at UCLA as the highest individual event score in program history. Clark has won the floor event in all eight meets this season and 20 times in her career. This is her fifth career ACC Specialist of the Week honor and second of the season.
Junior Quinn Kuhl earned the honor during the first week of the season after her performance against Towson in the season opener.
Clark and the Tigers are off this week before a trip to No. .9 Michigan on Mar. 6 and Elevate the Stage on March 8, which features Pitt, UGA and Auburn. Clemson closes out at home on Mar. 13 against BYU. Tickets are available at ClemsonTigers.com.
