CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Gymnast Brie Clark (Daphne, Ala.) was named the ACC Specialist of the Week for the third time this season as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Clark posted a 9.925 on floor at No. 9 Michigan on Friday and a 9.950 on floor at the Elevate the Stage meet Sunday to help Clemson to its top two team scores ever away from home (196.975 and 196.875).
Clark also tied a career-best with a 9.850 on vault at Elevate the Stage and had a team-high 9.875 on beam at Michigan. This is Clark’s sixth career ACC Specialist of the Week honor and second of the season.
Clark and the Tigers close out at the regular season at home on Mar. 13 against BYU for senior day. Tickets are available for as low as $5 with a Student for a Day promotion, or as part of the Super Friday deal where fans can attend Softball, Gymnastics and baseball on Friday night for just $15.
