NEW ORLEANS, La. — The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced on Thursday that Clemson’s men’s and women’s track and field teams have each received the association’s All-Academic distinction for the first time in program history.
The Tigers’ track and field teams led by Mark Elliot, received the honors after posting cumulative team GPA’s above 3.00. Clemson’s women’s team won the award for the second year in a row and for the third time in program history (2021, 2020 and 2011). Clemson men’s team won the award for the first time in program history.
