Blue Key to Pre-sell Tickets for Tigerama 2012 Saturday

April 13, 2012

On November 8, 1957, Joe Sherman and Blue Key oversaw the inaugural performance of Tigerama at Clemson University, making it the second largest completely student-run show in the country. Tigerama has become a hallmark of Homecoming weekend, highlighting the best of what Clemson University has to offer to an audience of thousands. Since 1957, Tigerama has become more than just a celebration of Clemson’s Homecoming; it is a unique experience for Tiger fans of all ages.

This Saturday, April 14, before the Orange and White spring football game, Blue Key will be pre-selling tickets for our 56th annual Homecoming celebration of Tigerama. The tickets will be sold at an exclusive rate of $5 in the athletic ticket office beside gate 9 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

This year’s Homecoming game will be held on November 10 when the Tigers play host to Maryland. Tigerama 2012 will be held on Friday, November 9.

This year we will be celebrating “The Spirit of ’89” as our Homecoming theme, highlighting some of Clemson’s greatest traditions that make us who we are today. Tigerama 2012 will be incorporating old traditions as well as taking new strides towards the future by expanding our reach beyond what we have been able to produce in the past.

Join us along with the rest of the Clemson Family, as we continue to take pride in this significant Clemson tradition and make this Homecoming a celebration to be remembered for years to come.
