Barnett Named ACC Performer Of The Week

CLEMSON, S.C. – In her first race of the 2016 season and first competitive race since the 2016 Indoor NCAA Championships, Grace Barnett placed higher than any ACC competitor in the Panorama Farms Invitational. The effort was good enough for the ACC to honor her as this week’s Women’s Performer of the Week.

The senior, All-ACC harrier out of Pawleys Island, South Carolina placed seventh with a 5k time of 17:17. The time led Clemson to an eighth place finish in the most competitive field the Tigers have faced this season.

Barnett and the Tigers are back in action Friday, September 30 in South Bend, Indiana as Clemson will compete in the Notre Dame Invitational.
