CLEMSON, SC – Senior runner Alyssa Kulik was named All-Academic for the 2011 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Thursday. It was the second straight season Kulik claimed the honor from the coaches association.
Kulik had a brilliant senior season for the Tigers on the course. She led Clemson to a fourth-place Southeast Region finish, the school’s best in 18 years. Kulik won all-region honors for the second straight year with an eighth-place finish. She also was the team’s top finisher at the ACC Championships in October.
Kulik, a native of Simpsonville, SC, is on pace to earn her degree in May in modern languages, with an emphasis in Spanish. She is a three-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll as well.
