AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Tevin Hester

Tevin Hester, Track & Field, Sophomore, Oxford, N.C.

Hester finished seventh in the 60 meters at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships last week after posting a time of 6.64 against one of the strongest and fastest fields in recent memory. Hester earned first-team All-America honors for the performance for the second straight season, joining Travis Padgett (2007, 2008) and Jacoby Ford (2007, 2009) as the only three Tigers to earn multiple first team All-America honors in the event.
