AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Nikki Dixon

Nikki Dixon, Women’s Basketball, Junior, Alpharetta, GA

Dixon recorded 19 points to lead the Lady Tigers in scoring in their win over Miami on Sunday, Jan. 26, and posted 21 points in the team’s road loss to Syracuse on Thursday, Jan 23. Against the Orange, she also added nine rebounds and a career-high eight assists, leaving her just shy of a triple-double. The junior wing has scored 19 or more points in eight of the last nine games, and is averaging 20.0 points per game over her first seven ACC contests.
