Burton scored the game’s lone goal in Clemson’s 1-0 overtime victory over Furman on the road in Greenville, SC on September 22. Burton’s goal, netted in the 94th minute of play, ended a scoreless tie between the Tigers and Paladins. The goal was the first of the season for the junior forward.
