Michael Brooks, Men’s Soccer, Senior, Fredericksburg, VA
Brooks scored four goals and had one assist to lead the Clemson men’s soccer team to a 5-3 upset over fourth-ranked Maryland on Friday, October 3 at Riggs Field. It was the first time that a Clemson player has scored four goals in a single match since Mark Lisi did so against Winthrop during the 1999 season. It was also the most goals scored by a Tiger against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent since the 1975 season, when Christian Nwokocha scored five goals against Duke.
