AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Brianna Rollins

Brianna Rollins, Track & Field, Redshirt Junior, Miami, FL

Rollins established an NCAA record on Friday, January 11 as she ran to a time of 7.78 to win the 60-meter hurdles at the Tiger Challenge.  Rollins, whose previous best was 7.93 at last year’s NCAA Championships, bested the standard set by Southern Cal hurdler Ginnie Powell in 2006. Powell, who is married to Clemson Hall of Fame sprinter and Olympic gold medalist Shawn Crawford, had the record at 7.84.
