Pinion was named ACC co-special teams player of the week after the North Carolina game. Pinion punted a total of five times for a total of 233 yards, good for a 46.6 average. Three of Pinion’s five punts were downed inside the 20, upping his streak to 87 punts without a touchback with 34 of them being downed inside the 20. Pinion kicked off nine times with four touchbacks.

Pinion currently ranks second in the ACC with a 44.8-yard average on all punts this year with a season long of 60 yards.
