Amirkhanian scored the golden goal in overtime in the Clemson men’s soccer team’s 2-1 upset over 17^th-ranked NC State on Friday, September 21 at Historic Riggs Field.  The goal, which was scored at the 98:34 mark and assisted by Manolo Sanchez and Preston Gayton, was the first game-winning goal for Amirkhanian in his Clemson career.
