Sinkler took first place in the long jump and the high jump on Friday at the 2009 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships and helped the Tiger women to a third-place team finish at the meet. The sophomore became the first female track and field athlete from Clemson to win multiple events at the conference championships since Gisele Oliveira won the long jump and triple jump in 2005.

Sinkler bettered her personal best in the long jump by nearly a foot, recording an NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 21’4.25″ to win the event. The Stafford, VA native then posted a height of 5’11.5″ in the high jump for her second ACC crown of the day. Sinkler posted a personal best 42’8.75″ in the triple jump for a fourth place finish in the event on Saturday.
