GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference released the 2014-15 women’s basketball league regular season opponents on Tuesday. The 16-game slate is comprised of home games against six “Rotating Partners,” road games against six “Rotating Partners,” and two “Rival Partners,” which will be played both at home and on the road. Clemson’s “Rival Partners” are Florida State and Georgia Tech. The Tigers will play Louisville, Syracuse, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Notre Dame. The road slate includes Boston College, Duke, Miami, NC State, Pitt and Wake Forest. Five of Clemson’s conference opponents finished the 2013-14 season ranked among the top-25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, with two more receiving votes. Three of Clemson’s home opponents, Notre Dame (2), Louisville (5) and North Carolina (7) finished among the top seven teams in the nation. The women’s basketball team finished with 13 wins under first-year head coach Audra Smith, including its first ACC Tournament win since 2009. The full schedule will be released in late August or early September.
