PREVIEW

  • The Clemson Softball program heads into its fifth week of play by hosting College of Charleston on Wednesday inside McWhorter Stadium for Throwback Night
  • Wednesday’s matchup marks the first time the two programs have met on the softball diamond

QUICK HITS

  • Clemson takes an 13-7 record into the midweek against College of Charleston and has outscored opponents 112-74, including 30-19 in the last five games
  • The Tigers have totaled 149 hits on the year with sophomore Marian Collins (.429 – 24 hits) and freshman Mac Pavese (.400 – 25 hits) leading the way
  • Collins also leads Clemson with 18 RBIs, while senior Jamison Brockenbrough (17), Pavese (17) and Corri Hicks (13) follow close behind
  • Clemson takes a 142 game hit streak into the College of Charleston game that began during the UNCG matchup at regionals on May 19, 2023. The 142 mark is a program record and surpassed the previous mark set from the inaugural game to April 15, 2022
  • On the season, Clemson has four top 25 victories (Oregon, Liberty, Georgia and Mississippi State)
  • As a team, Clemson leads the ACC in both shutouts (six) and walks drawn (88)

PUMP UP THE JAM

  • Jamison Brockenbrough looks to cap her collegiate career on a high note, serving as the lone true senior on the Clemson roster in 2026
  • A transfer prior to the 2025 season, Brockenbrough made a flawless transition into the Tigers’ lineup in centerfield and brought speed to the bottom of the lineup
  • Transitioning to the leadoff spot in 2026, Brockenbrough has drawn 16 walks, including three in the opening weekend finale against Michigan State which ties for the second most in a single game in Clemson records
  • She holds a .486 on-base percentage and adds a .614 slugging percentage
  • After getting on base, Brockenbrough has stolen four bases this year to contribute to her 12 as a Tiger, which is just outside of Clemson’s top 10 where current junior Kylee Johnson resides
  • Not only does the senior bring speed to the lineup, she opened the 2026 slate with a two-run homer against SE Louisiana
  • She continued her power stretch with a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning against Furman and another against Georgia Southern
  • Brockenbrough is one of two players to have five multi-RBI games
