CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 21 Clemson Tigers (5-1) head over to Lawrence, Kan. to match up against Kansas (3-0) on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 1:00 pm ET.
The Tigers are coming off a thrilling 4-2 win over Kansas State Friday night. Clemson went into singles play down 1-0 but powered through to grab Head Coach Boomer Saia’s 99th career victory in Kansas City, Mo. Junior #71 Ria Bhakta sealed the deal for the Tigers with a 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 victory over Martaa Chogsomjav on court three.
Clemson and Kansas will face off for the sixth time in program history Sunday. The Tigers lead the Jayhawks 4-1 in the all-time series, with Clemson coming off a 4-0 win over Kansas last spring at Duckworth.
