Louisville, Ky. – Clemson’s cross country teams are set to compete in the ACC Championships this Friday, Oct. 31. The meet will take place at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky. The women’s 6K race will open the meet at 9:30 a.m., followed by the men’s 8K at 10:30 a.m. Each race will be aired on ACCN, with live results will be available via Flash Results.

This will be the Tigers’ second time racing at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park this season with the first being the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic (Oct. 4).

Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic Highlights

  • The Tiger women placed second in the 5K, while the men placed fourth in the 8K.
  • Silvia Jelelgo placed second overall with a time of 15:45.6, shattering her Eye Opener (Aug. 29) 5K time of 16:33.9.
  • Jelelgo was the first collegiate athlete to finish and one of three runners to break the previous meet record of 16:06.0.
  • Gladys Chepngetich made her 2025 fall debut, finishing fourth with a time of 16:34.6.
  • Gideon Kiplimo was the top finisher for the men, placing 19th with a time of 24:10.9.
