CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Softball program is set to open the 2026 season with five games over the course of four days at the 2026 NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic, the tournament announced on Thursday. Action is slated to begin on Thursday, February 5 in Clearwater, Fla. Tickets for the event are now on sale and available to purchase using this link.
The 2025 ACC Champions will look to build upon their success as they enter the seventh season of the program by taking on five repeat opponents. The Tigers are set to open the year against 2024 Regional opponent, SE Louisiana, before continuing action against Oregon and Liberty, both of which Clemson last faced at this opening tournament in 2024. The Tigers round out the weekend with a rematch against Auburn and Michigan State. Four opponents the Tigers are slated to face made postseason, with one making super regionals and another making the WCWS.
