CLEMSON, S.C. – After wrapping up a successful first week on the pitch, the Clemson women’s soccer team earned the No. 19 spot in the United Soccer Coaches week one regular season rankings, as announced on Tuesday.
The Tigers were ranked No. 25 in the preseason poll by the United Soccer Coaches, and after earning a draw against previously ranked No. 12 South Carolina, who dropped to No. 15 and defeating Gardner-Webb 9-0, the Tigers successfully moved up six spots.
Looking ahead, the Tigers now hit the road for their first away games of the 2023 season as they prepare to kickoff against Utah Valley and Utah this upcoming week.
