Big Orange Bash Primer: Volleyball Opens Play Friday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson volleyball team will open the 2012 season on Friday night at 7:00 PM against Coastal Carolina in the Big Orange Bash in Jervey Gymnasium. Admission is free to the public to the entire event, which begins at 4:30 PM on Friday as Xavier takes on South Carolina State in Jervey Gym.

Play resumes Saturday, with Clemson taking on South Carolina State at noon and Xavier at 6:00 PM. Xavier and Coastal will play at 10:00 AM Saturday, while the Chanticleers will take on South Carolina State at 4:00 PM. Both of Clemson’s Saturday matches will be available on TigerCast at ClemsonTigers.com for free in high definition. All six matches will have live scoring available at ClemsonTigers.com as well. Clemson has an 8-0 mark all-time against Coastal and a 4-0 mark against South Carolina State. Clemson and Xavier have never met.
